Project Overview

Kulture Kenya is a culturally-focused mobile application designed to preserve, promote, and showcase Kenya's rich indigenous heritage. The app serves as a comprehensive digital repository for the country's 44+ ethnic groups, featuring structured content on languages, traditions, festivals, fashion, music, and folk wisdom. Developed using Flutter and Supabase, the application provides an intuitive interface for students, tourists, educators, and heritage enthusiasts to explore Kenya's cultural diversity. Key features include a rich cultural repository with detailed information on various tribes, audio pronunciations of native greetings and phrases, community media sharing for cultural events, an interactive map of heritage sites, and secure user authentication. This project reflects my commitment to using technology for cultural preservation and educational purposes while demonstrating my proficiency in modern mobile development frameworks.
